(Titus )

Paul writes to Titus, his trusted friend,

To guide the church and help it mend.

“Appoint elders who are blameless and wise,

Faithful to their families, above reproach in God’s eyes.

They must hold firm to the Word that is true,

To teach and correct, and lead the church too.”

Titus begins with a call to lead,

With godly leaders meeting the need.

Paul warns of false teachers leading astray,

Deceiving others with what they say.

“There are many who teach for gain,

Rebellious, deceitful, their words profane.

Rebuke them sharply, so they may be sound,

In faith and truth, let wisdom abound.”

Titus calls for discernment and care,

To protect the church from false teaching’s snare.

Paul urges Titus to teach what’s right,

To guide the church in God’s holy light.

“Teach older men to be self-controlled,

Worthy of respect, with faith that’s bold.

Teach women to live with purity and love,

Training the young in wisdom from above.”

Titus emphasizes sound doctrine’s role,

In shaping lives and making them whole.

Paul calls believers to live upright lives,

Reflecting the grace that in Christ arrives.

“Say no to sin, to passions untrue,

Live self-controlled lives in all that you do.

Be eager to do what is good and right,

Shining for Christ as a beacon of light.”

Titus teaches that grace transforms,

Guiding God’s people through life’s storms.

Paul reminds believers to obey and pray,

For rulers and authorities in every way.

“Be subject to rulers, do what is good,

Show humility in your neighborhood.

Once we were foolish, but God made us new,

By His mercy and love, He saved me and you.”

Titus calls us to live with grace,

Reflecting Christ in every place.

Paul highlights God’s saving plan,

By grace alone, not works of man.

“He saved us by mercy, not deeds we’ve done,

Through the Spirit’s renewal in the Son.

We’re justified by grace, heirs of life,

Called to good works, avoiding strife.”

Titus proclaims the gospel’s power,

God’s grace transforms us every hour.

Paul warns against division and strife,

Calling for unity in the Christian life.

“Avoid foolish quarrels, they lead to no gain,

Warn a divisive person, then don’t remain.

Do good deeds, meet pressing needs,

And be fruitful in all your deeds.”

Titus ends with a call to unite,

To live for Christ and walk in His light.

The book of Titus is short but clear,

A guide for the church to hold dear.

It calls for leaders who are faithful and wise,

And warns of false teachers spreading lies.

It urges believers to live holy lives,

Transformed by grace that always thrives.

Titus reminds us to reflect God’s love,

In our words and deeds, from heaven above.
