Revelation

John begins with a vision so bright,

Of Jesus in glory, power, and light.

“I saw Him standing, shining like the sun,

The First and the Last, the Risen One.

He holds the keys to death and the grave,

To Him be glory, the mighty to save.”

Seven letters to churches are sent,

With words of warning and calls to repent.

“To Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum too,

Thyatira, Sardis, and Philadelphia’s view.

To Laodicea, the lukewarm beware,

Be faithful to God, for He’s always there.”

Revelation calls the churches to stand,

To follow Christ’s commands and plan.

John sees a throne in heaven above,

Surrounded by worship, glory, and love.

“Angels and elders fall down to sing,

‘Holy, holy, to our Lord God and King!’

Revelation shows us the heavenly sight,

Where God’s glory shines, forever bright.

The Lamb of God opens seals, one by one,

Revealing God’s judgment soon to come.

“Four horsemen ride, bringing war and despair,

The martyrs cry out in desperate prayer.

Earth quakes, the sun turns black as night,

God’s justice comes with power and might.”

Revelation warns of the wrath to be,

Calling the world to bend the knee.

John describes the battle ahead,

When evil will fall, its power is dead.

“The dragon and beast deceive the world,

With false prophets and lies unfurled.

But Christ will return, on a white horse He’ll ride,

To crush the enemy and cast him aside.”

Revelation promises the end of sin,

When Christ returns and His reign begins.

John sees a vision of what’s to come,

“I saw a new heaven and earth so bright,

Where there is no more death, no pain, no night.

Lord God will dwell with His people,

No more sorrow, no more sin.”

Revelation reveals a future so clear,

Where God wipes away every tear.

The book ends with a promise divine,

Jesus is coming, in His own time.

“Behold, I come quickly,” the Savior said,

Bringing life to the living, judgment to the dead.

Revelation closes with hope so near,

A call to be ready, for Christ will appear.

The book of Revelation is a vision of hope,

A promise of victory, helping us cope.

It warns of judgment, yet shows God’s plan,

To redeem and restore His people and land.

It calls us to worship, to trust, and obey,

For Christ will return on that final day.

Revelation reminds us, through trial and strife,

That Jesus is King, the way, truth, and life.
