(Romans )
Paul begins with a bold decree,
The gospel’s power is God’s guarantee.
“For I’m not ashamed of the gospel’s call,
It’s salvation for sinners, available to all.
The righteous live by faith alone,
Through Christ, God’s grace is fully shown.”
Romans proclaims the gospel’s might,
Bringing life and setting wrongs right.
All have sinned, both Jew and Greek,
No one is righteous, humble, or meek.
God’s wrath is revealed from heaven above,
Against sin that denies His truth and love.
Though creation reflects His perfect design,
We’ve worshiped idols instead of the Lord.
Romans unveils our desperate need for grace,
To save us from sin’s shameful embrace.
We’re justified not by works we do,
But by faith in Christ, who makes us new.
“All have sinned and fall short of His glory,
But grace through Christ rewrites our story.
By faith, we’re redeemed, not by the law,
For salvation is God’s gift to all.”
Romans proclaims this truth so sweet:
In Christ alone, we are made complete.
Abraham believed, and it was clear,
His faith made him righteous, drawing him near.
Not by the law or works of his hand,
But by trust in God’s sovereign plan.
His faith stands as an example to see,
That righteousness is offered to you and me.
Romans points to faith, not deeds,
As the answer to our deepest needs.
Through Jesus, we now have peace with God,
Rejoicing in hope, though the path is hard.
“While we were sinners, Christ died for us,
Revealing God’s love, faithful and just.
Through one man, sin and death spread,
But through Christ, life conquers instead.”
Romans assures us of God’s great love,
A gift of grace sent from above.
Sin’s power is broken; we’re slaves no more,
Alive in Christ, our souls restored.
We’ve died to sin, made pure and clean.
The wages of sin is death, that’s true,
But eternal life is God’s gift to you.”
Romans calls us to live in grace,
Free from sin, in His holy embrace.
No condemnation for those in Christ,
The Spirit frees us, granting new life.
God works all things for the good of His own,
And nothing can sever us from His throne.
Neither death, nor life, nor height, nor depth,
Can separate us from His loving breath.
Romans declares God’s sovereign hand,
Securing salvation for every land.
Romans concludes with a call to renew,
“Be transformed in all you do.
Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice,
Holy and pleasing to Jesus Christ.
Love one another, obey His will,
Overcome evil by doing good still.”
