(Acts)

Acts begins with Jesus’ final command,

“Wait for the Spirit, My promised hand.

You’ll receive power, be My witness true,

In Jerusalem, Judea, and nations too.”

Then He ascended, out of their sight,

As angels promised His return in might.

Acts reveals the church’s birth,

Empowered to proclaim Christ’s worth.

The Spirit came like a rushing wind,

Tongues of fire rested on them within.

The apostles spoke in languages unknown,

As God’s mighty works were clearly shown.

Peter preached, three thousand believed,

The church was born, the Spirit received.

Acts shows the Spirit’s power displayed,

As the gospel spread and people were saved.

The apostles healed, the lame walked free,

Signs and wonders for all to see.

They preached with boldness, faced arrest,

Yet trusted God to do the rest.

The church grew strong, shared all they had,

With joy and unity, hearts were glad.

Acts reveals the church’s mission clear,

To love and serve without fear.

Persecution came, the church was tried,

Stephen was stoned, but God was glorified.

Believers scattered, the Word was spread,

Philip preached, and many were led.

Saul opposed, but on the Damascus road,

He met the Lord and his heart bestowed.

Peter received a vision divine,

“Do not call unclean what’s truly Mine.”

He preached to Cornelius, a Gentile man,

God’s salvation extended His plan.

Paul and Barnabas traveled far,

Preaching the gospel wherever they are.

Acts reveals the gospel is for all,

Every nation, every soul, God’s call.

Paul journeyed far, from land to land,

Preaching Christ with a bold command.

In synagogues, cities, and markets wide,

He shared the gospel and never denied.

He faced rejection, yet stayed strong,

God’s Spirit led him all along.

Acts shows the mission to the ends of the earth,

Proclaiming Christ’s power and His love.

Paul was arrested, falsely accused,

But boldly preached, though abused.

He appealed to Caesar, was sent to Rome,

To proclaim the gospel far from home.

Shipwrecked and tried, yet faithful he stayed,

God’s kingdom advanced as Paul obeyed.

Acts ends with the gospel proclaimed,

To the heart of the empire, Jesus’ name.

The book of Acts tells the story of grace,

Of the Spirit’s power in every place.

It shows the church’s growth and call,

To proclaim Christ’s name to one and all.

From Jerusalem to Rome, the gospel spread,

Through trials and triumphs, by Spirit-led.

Acts reminds us of God’s great plan,

To save and restore every woman and man.
