(1 Corinthians)
Paul writes to Corinth with a plea,
“Let there be no divisions, live in unity.
Some follow Paul, others Apollos’ name,
But Christ alone is the one we proclaim.
The cross may seem foolish to those who are lost,
But to the saved, it shows a life cost.”
Corinthians calls us to be one,
United in Christ, God’s risen Son.
The wisdom of God is not like man,
It’s revealed through His plan.
“God chose the weak to shame the strong,
The lowly to prove the proud are wrong.
The Spirit reveals what eyes cannot see,
The depths of God’s mystery.”
Corinthians shows where wisdom lies,
In Christ alone, who makes us wise.
Paul rebukes the church for sins they allow,
Immorality and pride must end now.
“Your body’s a temple, bought with a price,
Honor God with your sacrifice.
Flee from sin, pursue what’s pure,
For in Christ, your redemption is sure.”
Corinthians calls us to holy ways,
To honor God in all our days.
Paul speaks of marriage, its purpose and call,
To honor God in love above all.
“Marriage is good, but singleness too,
Each has a purpose, a calling for you.
In all your relationships, glorify the Lord,
Stay faithful to Him and obey His Word.”
Corinthians teaches to love and obey,
In marriage or singleness, day by day.
“All things are lawful,” but not all are wise,
Use your freedom to glorify Christ.
Don’t cause others to stumble or fall,
Put love for your neighbor above it all.
Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do,
Do it all for the glory of God who saved you.
Corinthians reminds us to live with care,
With love and freedom we’re called to share.
The church is a body, each part has a role,
Gifts of the Spirit are given to bless,
To build up the church, to love, and confess.
But love is the gift that’s truly first.
Corinthians shows the body’s design,
Unified in Christ, by God’s hand divine.
Love is patient, love is kind,
It seeks the good of all mankind.
Faith, hope, and love will always remain,
But love is the greatest, forever the same.
Christ is risen, death is no more,
Victory is ours through the Lord we adore.
Corinthians ends with hope so clear,
In Christ’s return, we have no fear.
The book of 1 Corinthians is a guide,
For a church divided, full of pride.
It calls for love, unity, and grace,
To live as God’s people in every place.
From spiritual gifts to love’s great call,
It shows Christ’s victory over all.
