(LUKE)

Luke begins with a detailed plan,

God’s salvation for every man.

An angel visits Mary, humble and mild,

“You’ll bear God’s Son, a holy child.

Peace on earth, good news to all,

For Christ has come to break sin’s thrall.”

Luke shows Jesus, born as a man,

Fulfilling God’s redemptive plan.

In Nazareth, Jesus stands to proclaim,

“The Spirit is on Me, I heal the lame.

I bring good news to the poor, the blind,

Freedom for captives, sight for the blind.”

From synagogue to shore, He taught,

With wisdom and power, the lost He sought.

Luke reveals Christ’s mission of grace,

To seek and save the human race.

Jesus taught of a shepherd’s care,

Who left the ninety-nine for one lost there.

The prodigal son who ran away,

Was welcomed home that very day.

A good Samaritan showed mercy’s call,

To love your neighbor, one and all.

Luke emphasizes God’s great love,

Pursuing the lost from heaven above.

Jesus reached out to the broken and poor,

The sinner, the leper, the outcast, and more.

He healed the sick, gave the blind their sight,

And brought the dead to life with His might.

He dined with sinners, forgave their shame,

And called them to follow in His name.

Luke shows Jesus’ love for all,

From the least to the greatest, He answers their call.

Jesus said, “Take up your cross,

Follow Me, though it feels like loss.

Deny yourself, give all you own,

For the kingdom of God is your eternal home.

The harvest is great, the workers are few,

Go out in faith, for I’m sending you.”

Luke calls us to follow the Son,

And live for His kingdom until it’s done.

Jesus prayed in the garden, betrayed by a kiss,

Arrested and tried, enduring this.

Mocked and beaten, nailed to a tree,

He bore our sin to set us free.

On the third day, the tomb was bare,

He rose in triumph, death couldn’t compare.

Luke proclaims the victory won,

Through the death and life of God’s own Son.

Two disciples walked with hearts so low,

But Jesus appeared, though they didn’t know.

He broke the bread, their eyes were clear,

The risen Savior was standing near.

“Preach repentance, forgiveness of sin,

To all the nations, let My kingdom begin.”

Luke ends with joy and a call to proclaim,

The good news of Jesus’ saving name.

The book of Luke is a story of grace,

Of God’s great love for the human race.

It shows Jesus’ care for the lost and weak,

And calls us to follow, to love, and to seek.

From His birth to His death and His rising again,

Jesus brings salvation to all men.

Luke reminds us of God’s great plan,

To save and restore every woman and man.
