John begins with a truth profound,


“In the beginning, the Word was found.


The Word was with God, the Word was God,


Through Him, all creation trod.


The Word became flesh, dwelt among men,


Full of grace and truth, time and again.”


John reveals Jesus, graceful and true,


The Son of God, bringing life anew.






Jesus turned water into wine,


He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind,


Fed the five thousand, calmed the mind.


He raised Lazarus from the grave,


Lord Jesus came to heal and save.


John shows Jesus’ miraculous signs,






Jesus spoke to Nicodemus at night,


“Be born again to walk in the light.


For God so loved the world, He gave,


His only Son, so sinners He’d save.


Whoever believes will never die,


Jesus is our Savior we will not deny.


John emphasizes faith in the Son,


Through whom everlasting life is won.






Jesus declared, “I am the Bread,


Whoever eats will be fed.


I am the Living Water, come and drink,


And you’ll never thirst or fade or sink.


I am the Light, shining bright,


Follow Me and walk in the light.”


John reveals Jesus as all we need,


The source of life for those who believe.






“I am the Shepherd, I know My sheep,


I lay down My life, My promises I keep.


I am the way, come through Me,


And find salvation sent from above.


No one can snatch you from My hand,


I give life that forever will stand.”


John shows Jesus’ tender care,


For all who trust and follow Him there.






Jesus prayed, “Father, glorify Your Son,”


As His mission on earth was nearly done.


Betrayed, arrested, condemned to die,


He bore the cross, lifted high.


“It is finished,” He said, then gave His breath,


Defeating sin and conquering death.


On the third day, He rose again,


Bringing salvation to all men.


John proclaims Jesus, victorious and true,


The risen Savior, life made new.






Jesus appeared to His disciples near,


“Peace be with you, do not fear.


As the Father sent Me, so I send you,


To proclaim My name and make all things new.


Blessed are those who believe, not see,


For life is theirs, to come to me.”


John ends with a call to trust and obey,


And proclaim the gospel every day.






The book of John is written to say,


That Jesus is the Life, the Truth, the Way.


It shows His obedience, love and grace,


His love to save the human race.


John calls us to believe in the Son,


And find life in the victory won.
