(JOB)

Job was a man upright and true,

He feared the Lord in all he’d do.

Blessed with wealth, family, and fame,

He honored God, praised His name.

But Satan came to test his faith,

Claiming Job’s devotion was misplaced.

God allowed the trial to begin,

To prove Job’s faithfulness deep within.

In one day, Job lost all he had,

His children, his wealth—his heart was sad.

Then painful boils covered his skin,

Yet Job refused to curse God within.

His wife urged him to renounce the Lord,

But Job chose worship, not a bitter word.

“Naked I came, and naked I’ll go,

Blessed be God, who rules all below.”

Job’s friends arrived to mourn his fate,

They sat in silence, his pain was great.

Then they spoke, their words unkind,

Claiming Job’s sin was the reason behind.

Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar accused,

Saying Job’s suffering was justly used.

But Job defended his innocence true,

Confused by the pain that God let through.

Job cried out, “Why has this come?

I’ve done no wrong, what have I done?

I wish I could stand before Your throne,

And plead my case, make my suffering known.

Why do the wicked prosper and thrive,

While I, the righteous, barely survive?”

Job wrestled with questions deep and raw,

Seeking understanding of God’s law.

Finally, God spoke from a stormy sky,

Answering Job’s questions, “Who am I?

Where were you when I made the earth,

When I gave creation its form and birth?

Can you command the stars above,

Or guide the creatures with care and love?

My ways are higher, beyond your view,

Trust in Me, for I am true.”

Job replied, “I spoke of things unknown,

Wonders too great for me to own.

I repent in dust, I see Your might,

You are sovereign, Your ways are right.”

God rebuked Job’s friends for their lies,

And restored Job’s honor in their eyes.

Job prayed for them, and God forgave,

Showing mercy, mighty to save.

God blessed Job with double his gain,

Restoring his fortunes after the pain.

His family returned, his flocks increased,

His joy renewed, his suffering ceased.

Through trials and loss, Job learned to trust,

That God is sovereign, loving, and just.

The story reminds us, in trials we face,

God’s wisdom and purpose are full of grace.

The book of Job teaches us to see,

God’s wisdom and power are beyond what we plea.

Though suffering may come, and trials abound,

God’s faithfulness and love are profound.

It reminds us to trust Him through the unknown,

For He works all things for His glory alone.
