Hebrews

The book begins by lifting Christ high,

Above all prophets, angels, and the sky.

“In the past, God spoke through prophets of old,

But now through His Son, His glory is told.

He’s the radiance of God, the exact imprint,

Sustaining all things by His power infinite.”

Hebrews proclaims Christ is supreme,

God’s final Word, His perfect theme.

Christ is greater than angels who serve,

His name is exalted, His glory deserved.

“Don’t drift away from what you’ve heard,

He’s greater than Moses, faithful and true,

The builder of God’s house, for me and you.”

Hebrews calls us to hold firm and see,

That Christ is the key to the Father on high.

The author warns of a hardened heart,

To trust in God and not depart.

“Today, if you hear His voice, obey,

Don’t harden your hearts or turn away.

Strive to enter His rest above,

Through faith and trust in His great love.”

Hebrews warns us to persevere,

And trust in Christ without fear.

The book declares Christ’s priestly role,

The one who intercedes for every soul.

“We have a high priest in the Lord Jesus,

The Son of God, who hears our cries.

He’s able to sympathize with our pain,

Tempted like us, yet without stain.”

Hebrews shows Christ’s priesthood divine,

Our mediator for all time.

The old covenant fades, the new one has come,

Through Jesus, the perfect and Holy Son.

“He is the mediator of a better way,

A covenant of grace for us today.

The blood of Jesus cleanses the soul,

Once for all, it makes us whole.”

Hebrews reveals the better plan,

God’s perfect covenant for every man.

Faith is the key to run the race,

To trust in God’s unfailing grace.

“Faith is the substance of what we hope,

The evidence of things unseen, to help us cope.

By faith, the ancients received their reward,

They trusted in the promises of the Lord.”

Hebrews calls us to walk by faith,

To trust in God in every place.

The book concludes with a call to endure,

To fix our eyes on Christ, steadfast and pure.

“Let us run with endurance the race ahead,

Fix your eyes on Jesus, who rose from the dead.

Endure hardship as discipline from above,

God molds us in His perfect love.”

Hebrews ends with a call to praise,

To worship God for all our days.

The book of Hebrews exalts Christ’s name,

Above all others, His glory proclaimed.

It calls believers to persevere,

To hold to faith and draw near.

It shows Christ’s work, both priest and King,

The perfect sacrifice for sin He brings.

Hebrews reminds us, through trials and strife,

To cling to Jesus, the giver of life.
