(DEUTERONOMY)
On the plains of Moab, Moses stood,
To teach the people all he could.
A new generation, the promise near,
He spoke God's words for them to hear.
“Remember the law, the covenant made,
Obey the Lord, don’t be afraid.
The land is yours, His promise true,
But walk in His ways, in all you do.”
“Look back and see what God has done,
He led you out when your bondage was won.
Through wilderness trials, He made a way,
Providing manna every day.
Your clothes didn’t wear, your feet didn’t tire,
He tested your hearts to take you higher.
Remember His works, His mighty hand,
And trust Him fully in the promised land.”
“Hear, O Israel, the Lord is One,
Love Him with all your heart, soul, and tongue.
Teach your children, write it down,
Bind His Word, let it surround.
Follow His ways, His statutes keep,
Honor the Lord in all you seek.
This is the commandment, holy and true,
To love your God in all you do.”
“If you obey, blessings will flow,
Your crops will thrive, your herds will grow.
Your enemies will flee, your land will expand,
God’s favor will rest upon your hand.
But if you rebel, curses will fall,
Your strength will fail, your cities will stall.
Choose life and blessing, follow His way,
That you may prosper every day.”
“Don’t turn to idols, don’t bow your knee,
The Lord is jealous, His wrath you’ll see.
Destroy their altars, break their stone,
For you are His, you are His own.
Don’t forget the One who rescued you,
Who gave you life, who brought you through.
Serve Him alone, with all your might,
Walk in His truth, and do what’s right.”
Moses renewed the covenant made,
God’s commandments, His laws displayed.
“Keep His Word, and teach your kin,
Remember His grace, confess your sin.
The land is yours, but it’s not by might,
It’s by His power, His holy light.
He chose you not for what you’ve done,
But for His love, His will begun.”
Moses stood on Nebo’s height,
And saw the land in morning light.
“You will enter, but I must stay,
The Lord has called me home today.
Be strong and brave, and do not fear,
The Lord goes with you, He’ll be near.
Joshua leads, the promise remains,
The Lord is faithful; His Word sustains.”
