(1 Thessalonians)

Paul opens with gratitude and praise,

For the Thessalonians’ faith-filled ways.

“We thank God for your work of faith,

Your steadfast love that endures each day.

You turned from idols to serve the Lord,

And wait for His return, your great reward.”

Thessalonians begins with joy sincere,

For a church whose faith is bright and clear.

Paul reminds them of their trials and pain,

But assures them their faith is not in vain.

“You suffered for Christ and stood your ground,

Your faith has spread to regions around.

Though persecuted, you hold fast,

Your hope in Christ will always last.”

Thessalonians calls us to endure,

In Christ’s strength, our hope is secure.

Paul urges the church to grow and thrive,

Living holy and pure in all their lives.

“God’s will is for you to be sanctified,

Avoid immorality, let His Word be your guide.

Love one another, grow more and more,

Live quietly, work hard, and serve the Lord.”

Thessalonians teaches how to live,

A life of holiness that Christ will give.

Paul comforts those who grieve and mourn,

With hope in Christ, who will return.

“We don’t grieve like those with no hope,

For Christ will come and raise His own.

The dead in Christ will rise first that day,

Then we’ll meet Him in that day to stay.”

Thessalonians offers hope so bright,

In Christ’s return and eternal light.

Paul warns of the day that’s coming near,

When Christ returns, sudden and clear.

“The day of the Lord will come like a thief,

So stay awake, stand firm in belief.

You are children of light, not of night,

Live soberly, clothed in faith and light.”

Thessalonians calls us to prepare,

For Christ’s return, beyond compare.

Paul urges the church to build and restore,

Encouraging each other more and more.

“Respect your leaders, live in peace,

Warn the idle, let love increase.

Rejoice always, pray without end,

Give thanks to God, your Father above.”

Thessalonians teaches love’s great call,

To strengthen the church and care for all.
