(1 John)






John begins with a message of truth,


Proclaiming Christ, the Word of God.


“This is the message we’ve heard and declare,


God is light, and no darkness is there.


Walk in the light, as He is in the light,


And the blood of Jesus makes us right.”


John starts with a call to live,


In God’s light, and His forgiveness give.






John reminds believers of sin’s reality,


And God’s mercy that sets us free.


“If we say we’re without sin, we deceive,


But if we confess, His grace we’ll receive.


He’s faithful and just, forgiving our wrong,


Cleansing us fully, making us strong.”


John calls us to confess and be pure,


God’s forgiveness is faithful and sure.






John emphasizes obedience to God’s Word,


A sign of love for Him, seen and heard.


“We know that we’ve come to know Him true,


If we obey what He commands us to do.


Whoever claims to live in His way,


Must walk as Jesus walked each day.”


John teaches that love and obedience,


Are proof of faith and God’s presence.






John calls believers to love and care,


Reflecting God’s love everywhere.


“Anyone who loves their brother and friend,


Lives in the light that will never end.


But hatred blinds and leads astray,


Love is the command we must obey.”


John reminds us that love is the key,


To living in God’s truth and unity.






John warns of the world’s fleeting desire,


Calling believers to aim higher.


“Do not love the world or its ways,


Its desires will pass, but the Word stays.


The world and its lusts are fading away,


But those who do God’s will remain today.”


John urges us to seek God’s will,


And find true life in Him to fulfill.






John warns of false teachers who deceive,


And calls believers to test and believe.


“Don’t trust every spirit that you hear,


Test them to see if God is near.


Every spirit that confesses the Son,


Is from God, and victory is won.”


John calls us to discern and stay,


In God’s truth, His perfect way.
