Isaiah

Isaiah was called by God above,

To proclaim His justice and steadfast love.

He saw the Lord seated on His throne,

Holy and mighty, ruling alone.

“Whom shall I send?” God asked that day,

Isaiah replied, “Here I am, send me, I’ll obey.”

His mission: to warn, rebuke, and restore,

To call God’s people to Him once more.

Isaiah warned of Judah’s sin,

Their rebellion had brought destruction in.

They turned from God, their hearts were cold,

Idolatry grew, and justice was sold.

God’s judgment would come, the prophets said,

Through foreign nations, their land would be led.

Yet even in judgment, hope remained,

God’s mercy and promises would be sustained.

Amid the warnings, Isaiah foretold,

A time of peace, a kingdom of gold.

The wolf and lamb will dwell as friends,

And war and strife will come to an end.

God’s servant will suffer, yet bring salvation,

Healing and hope to every nation.

Through repentance, God’s grace is near,

He calls His people to trust, not fear.

Isaiah spoke of a Savior to come,

God’s chosen one, His anointed Son.

“A child is born, a Son is given,

He’ll reign forever, the King of heaven.

Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace,

His kingdom of justice will never cease.”

The Messiah will bear our sins and shame,

By His wounds, we’ll be healed in His name.

Isaiah proclaimed that God rules all,

Over kings and kingdoms, great and small.

Babylon, Assyria, Egypt too,

Would face His judgment for what they do.

No nation can stand against His decree,

For God is sovereign and holds the key.

Isaiah reminds us that God’s plan is sure,

His justice and wisdom forever endure.

Isaiah foretold a future bright,

A new Jerusalem, bathed in light.

God will gather His people home,

From every nation, they’ll no longer roam.

The desert will bloom, the blind will see,

God’s kingdom will come in victory.

A new heaven and earth will be revealed,

Where God’s glory and peace are forever sealed.

Isaiah calls us to trust and believe,

In God’s salvation, the grace we receive.

“Do not fear, for I am with you,”

God’s promises are faithful and true.

He will redeem, restore, and save,

Through His servant who willingly gave.

Isaiah points us to Christ, our King,

Through Him, eternal hope will spring.

The book of Isaiah is rich and profound,

God’s justice and mercy in every sound.

It warns of sin and judgment’s pain,

Yet offers hope through God’s reign.

It points to Christ, the Savior to come,

Through whom redemption is won.

Isaiah reminds us to trust and obey,

For God’s salvation is the only way.
