Lyrics

(Galatians )

Paul writes with urgency and zeal,

To correct a church led by false appeal.

“Don’t turn to a gospel that is not true,

Only Christ’s grace can save you.

I preach not from man, but by God’s call,

The gospel of Jesus is for all.”

Galatians warns of false ways to live,

And points to the grace only Christ can give.

“We are justified by faith alone,

Not by the works we claim as our own.

The law cannot save, it shows our sin,

But through Christ’s death, new life begins.

I’ve been crucified with Christ, I no longer live,

But He lives in me, His life to give.”

Galatians proclaims salvation’s plan:

Faith in Christ, not works of man.

Paul reminds of Abraham’s call,

Faith, not law, was the key to it all.

“Those who believe are Abraham’s seed,

Blessed by God through faith indeed.

The law was given to show our need,

But Christ redeems, He sets us free.”

Galatians shows God’s promise is sure,

Through faith in Jesus, we are secure.

Christ has freed us, no longer enslaved,

By His sacrifice, we are saved.

“Stand firm in freedom, don’t turn again,

To the yoke of the law and its heavy chain.

In Christ, there’s neither slave nor free,

All are one in His family.”

Galatians calls us to live in grace,

Freed from the law, in Christ’s embrace.

Walk by the Spirit, not the flesh,

Let your life in Christ be fresh.

“The acts of the flesh lead to death,

But the Spirit brings life with every breath.

Love, joy, and peace, patience too,

Kindness and self-control flow through you.”

Galatians teaches how to live,

Bearing the fruit the Spirit gives.

Paul reminds us to share and care,

To bear one another’s burdens and prayer.

“Do not grow weary in doing good,

For in time, you’ll reap as you should.

Sow to the Spirit, reap everlasting life,

Do good to all, avoid sin and strife.”

Galatians urges us to persevere,

To live for God and draw others near.

Paul ends his letter with one refrain,

The cross of Christ is our greatest gain.

“I boast in nothing but Jesus’ cross,

Through His death, I count all else loss.

The world is crucified, I’m made new,

God’s peace and mercy rest on you.”

Galatians calls us to fix our eyes,

On Christ alone, our greatest prize.

The book of Galatians makes it clear,

The gospel of grace is what we hold dear.

We’re saved by faith, not works of law,

Through Christ alone, without a flaw.

It calls us to freedom, to love and to serve.
