(EXODUS)

Israel enslaved, Pharaoh’s command,

Oppression grew in a foreign land.

A cry for freedom, a desperate plea,

God heard their groans, their misery.

A deliverer born, drawn from the Nile,

Moses chosen, God's plan worthwhile.

Raised in the palace, then fled in fear,

God called him back, His voice was clear.

A bush ablaze, yet not consumed,

God spoke to Moses, Egypt doomed.

"I AM WHO I AM," His name revealed,

A promise made, deliverance sealed.

Staff to serpent, hand to leprous white,

Signs of power, God's divine might.

Aaron sent to speak for him,

Together they’d confront Pharaoh’s sin.

Pharaoh defied, his heart was hard,

God’s mighty hand brought judgment stark.

Waters to blood, frogs filled the land,

Gnats and flies, Pharaoh’s stand.

Livestock died, boils and hail,

Locusts swarmed, darkness prevailed.

The final plague, the firstborn’s death,

Freedom came with one last breath.

Blood on the doorposts, lambs were slain,

Death passed over, freedom gained.

Unleavened bread, a feast to keep,

God’s deliverance, a promise deep.

The Exodus came, they left in haste,

God’s chosen people, His grace embraced.

Pillar of cloud by day, fire by night,

Guiding them with holy light.

Egypt pursued, the army drew near,

The people cried out, consumed by fear.

God told Moses, “Stretch out your hand,”

The sea divided, they crossed dry land.

Waters collapsed, Pharaoh’s defeat,

Israel sang of victory sweet.

God had triumphed, His power displayed,

Freedom won, His glory praised.

Through the wilderness, a journey long,

God provided when faith was gone.

Bitter waters turned to sweet,

Manna fell, their needs complete.

Quail for meat, water from stone,

God was faithful, they weren’t alone.

Mount Sinai loomed, thunder roared,

God’s commandments, His law outpoured.

Ten commandments, holy decree,

God’s law given for all to see.

No other gods, no idols made,

Honor His name, keep Sabbath day.

Honor parents, do not kill,

Truth and love, His perfect will.

The covenant sealed, His people blessed,

A holy nation, set apart to rest.

God’s presence dwelt in a holy place,

A tent of meeting, a sign of grace.

Ark of the Covenant, mercy seat,

God’s glory there, communion sweet.

Priests anointed, garments worn,

Sacrifices made, sin to mourn.

A pillar of cloud, a pillar of fire,

God with His people, their hearts inspire.

Golden calf, a grievous sin,

Moses pleaded for God’s pardon within.

The tablets broken, covenant betrayed,

Yet God forgave, His mercy displayed.

A second chance, His law restored,

His steadfast love forever poured.

The people wandered, yet He stayed,

Faithful to the promise He made.

From bondage to freedom, a mighty hand,

God delivers, His people stand.

The covenant made, His glory shown,

In every trial, His love is known.

Exodus tells of God’s great plan,

To free His people and guide their hand.

A journey of faith, a story of grace,

God’s redemption for the human race.
