1 तियां दिहोमेहें बाप्तिस्मा आपनारु योहान यहुदीयाआ जंगलोमेहें आवित एहेलुहू परसार कोउ वोल्यू के,
2 "तुमाआं पापोहो सोड़ीत मोन फिरवा!"
"काहाके होरगाआ राज आहने आवित लागोहो."
3 ओ तोज होय, जियाअ बाप्तिमेहें यशया भविश्यवक्ते कोयोतो:
"रानोमेहें एका बोंबलीइनाराआ आवाज आवेहे,
'प्रभुउ सड़क तियार कोआ;
तियाआ वाट हुदी कोआ!'"

John the Baptist Prepares the Way
(Mark 1:1-8; Luke 3:1-18; John 1:19-28)
1 In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea
2 and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near."
3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
"A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
'Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.'"
