Rise Anyway
When the night has no mercy, and the stars refuse to shine,
When the weight of what you carry pulls the soul past every line—
There’s a whisper in the silence, though the world would never see,
That broken ground is sacred space where roots of courage be.
You don’t have to wear a smile when your chest is torn in two,
But there's a fire buried deeper than what pain could ever do.
The storm may howl above you, but your spirit still can say,
“I may be struck, but I’m not staying. I will rise anyway.”
Rise anyway, when the lights are gone,
When your name feels weak, but your heart beats strong.
When the tears have dried and the prayers feel thing,
Let the war cry start from deep within.
You were made for more than this heavy night,
There’s victory woven into your fight.
Stand up slow, or crawl if you must,
But rise anyway, for God still trusts.
Hope isn’t loud - it’s a breath in the dark.
It’s a flicker of faith in a world torn apart.
It’s waking again with nothing but will,
And hearing your Father say, “I’m with you still.”
You are not forgotten. You are not small.
He’s catching each tear before it can fall.
You’re not your failures. Not your shame.
Not the echo of that past mistake.
You’re not the label someone gave,
You’re a soul that Jesus came to save.
So speak His name through shattered skies,
And let your spirit learn to rise.
There’s gold in scars you try to hide,
A testimony wrapped inside.
And when they say you’re done and gone,
That’s when your rising has begun.
You’re not the grave. You’re not the end.
You’re the story He will mend.
Rise anyway, when the lights are gone,
When your name feels weak, but your heart beats strong.
When the tears have dried and the prayers feel thin -
Let the war cry start from deep within.
You were made for more than this heavy night,
There’s victory woven into your fight.
Stand up slow, or crawl if you must -
But rise anyway, for God still trusts.
So dust off the ashes, lift up your head,
You’re walking proof that hope’s not dead.
Heaven’s not quiet. The angels still say:
“Child, don’t give up - rise anyway.”
